We have had a fun snow filled 2010 in Mears so far! We have seen lots of our winter friends out on their snowmobiles. We are preparing for April when we hope to see all of our summer regulars around for the Saturday night BBQ and of course a big scoop of ice cream from the Sweet Shop!
We have also made some changes in Mears, the Golden Inn is please to welcome a new cook who is making some yummy specials while keeping the same Golden Inn traditions that everyone loves. We are also making new sweet treats in the Sweet shop that we know your sweet tooth will enjoy!
Make sure you keep us in mind for your up coming weddings, graduations, holiday, and special events for catering or desserts!

Summer In Mears
The season is in full swing here in Mears, we have begun the summer traditions with our Saturday evening BBQ, and we have started a new tradition with the Wednesday night Concerts in the park. This Wednesday July 16th at 7pm in Johnson Square Park we will feature 2 young local musicians as they entertain for the evening! So bring your lawn chair your picnic baskets, and your ice tea!

Memorial Day
Memorial Day was a successful and exciting day in Mears. We had Muffin Bread and Coffee Cake gone before 11 am, we were grillin and chillin at the Golden Inn, and we were making beautiful music at the Ice Cream Shop!
Graduation is quickly approaching, make sure you call Morat’s Cake House to place your order for your graduation cakes, truffles and candies. Also stop by the Golden Inn and ask about out catering options, we can do just about anything for your own personal graduation party!
