As Memorial Weekend approaches all things are in full swing in Mears! The Golden Inn is now open 7 days a week! Stop in for fresh deep fried asparagus. The patio is also open at the Golden Inn, bring in the whole family for steak dinner this Saturday! Also check out the new improvements made at the Mears Market opening this Thursday May 27th! Spring is comming!
April has come... but winter is still lerking in the area. As we gear up for the Spring and Summer seasons, we hope you stop by to see all the new happenings around Mears. We had a successful Winter season filled with ginger bread houses and outhouse races. We look forward to the Spring and Summer season and seeing all out vacation friends at our famous Saturday Night BBQ! Make sure you stop in to see the New Sweetshop, Gift Shop and Book Store!

Summer Time Fun!
Come to downtown Mears this weekend for one of our many summer events! Join us Saturday evening, for the Golden Inn BBQ with Ribs, Chicken and Potato Salad. Also, stop by to hear local singer Ashley Youngstrum preform on the patio!
We also have the Mears Art fair in Johnson Square from 9-4pm on Saturday July 18th. Stop into check out the local artist, and cuisine!
Make sure you sign up for the Pirates Regatta, on July 25th this 5K run and walk will begin at 8:30am at the Township Hall in Mears!

History
Founded in 1873 by Charles Mears and located at the center of Oceana County is Mears, Michigan.
